At what turned out to be one of the best NCAA championship games in recent memory, Ray Garza tossed his foot in the air to get this footograph with the action in the background. The scoreboard shows Memphis with a two point lead at the time of the footo - a lead they couldn't hang on to. The game, of course, was played at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

At the inaugural game of the Rio Grande Vipers of the NBA Development League, Tim and Nora Smith enjoy the view from the cheap seats. The seats must be a long way from the floor since the basketball court is sitting on top of the hockey ice...and Nora is able to remove her shoe for this footograph! Home of the Washington Wizards, the Verizon Center is nestled in the heart of downtown Washington, DC. Actually, it is in the newly emerging Chinatown area which has some fantastic restaurants! This footograph would've been taken from much closer, but as the sign indicates, the sidewalk was closed and footographer Tim Smith had to settle for a foot from this vantagepoint.
