At what turned out to be one of the best NCAA championship games in recent memory, Ray Garza tossed his foot in the air to get this footograph with the action in the background. The scoreboard shows Memphis with a two point lead at the time of the footo - a lead they couldn't hang on to. The game, of course, was played at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Taylor Smith celebrates her 16th birthday at the AT&T Center in San Antonio as the Spurs get ready to take on the Portland Trailblazers. At the inaugural game of the Rio Grande Vipers of the NBA Development League, Tim and Nora Smith enjoy the view from the cheap seats. The seats must be a long way from the floor since the basketball court is sitting on top of the hockey ice...and Nora is able to remove her shoe for this footograph! The Vipers won the game, defeating the Austin Toros...to begin their quest for an undefeated season.

OK....not your typical basketball footograph. Dan Kottlowski proudly shows off his Purdue socks (notice it says "for bare feet" so Purdue grads would know what to do with them) and Game Cruiser on his computer following Purdue's shocking victory over the Indiana Hoosiers on Thursday, February 15th, 2007. Basketball victories over Indiana have been rare for the Boilermakers the past few years, so this was truly a significant event making this footograph worthy of a spot on Feetinfamousplaces.com.
