Border Footographs

In probably the best Border Footograph ever, Teri Castillo and kids pose at the Four Corners landmark to give us the first footo to show 4 states. Samantha (top) is in New Mexico, Adam (right) is in Arizona, Teri (bottom) is in Utah, and Thomas (right) is in Colorado. Very cool!
After the long drive across Texas, Teri Castillo relaxes after crossing into New Mexico at the beginning of her family's journey to the Grand Canyon.

Overlooking the historic Rio Grande, Bob Smerbeck and Tim Smith pose for this footograph from Brownsville, Texas with Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico in the background. The river was running very high following recent heavy rain in the area. The high water wasn't enough to stop a half-dozen "immigrants" though...who emerged from the river and brush shortly after this footo was taken - right behind a passing Border Patrol vehicle!

No river, no fence, no Boder Patrol. This is too easy! Jason Smith pauses for this footograph at this boundary marker along the US - Canadian border.

From border to border, Jason Smith has travelled the United States! This quiet station along the US - Canadian Border pairs nicely with Jason's footograph below from the US - Mexican Border to show that he keeps trying to escape, but both of our neighboring countries keep sending him back.

Jason Smith pauses for this footograph while crossing the International Bridge from Progreso, Texas to Nuevo Progreso, Mexico. As Jason points out, " my big toe is in Los Estados Unidos Mexicanos, and the rest of my piggies are in the US of A."

On the border between East and West Berlin, Stacey Bryant took this footograph in 1995. She is standing on the West side.
