Hockey Footographs!
Dodge Arena, Hidalgo, Texas
We have a footograph trilogy for you here. This Sarai Valdez footo is at the Dodge Arena taken during a game between the hated Laredo Bucks and the home Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees. Read on!
As happens in nearly every Bees-Buck game, a skirmish breaks out on the ice. As the PA system plays "Let Them Fight, Let Them Fight, Let Them Fight," Sarai Valdez snapped a footo of the action!

At last, the referees jump in to break up the Bees-Bucks battle - which, as always, was won by the Bees. They have to win the fight because the rarely win the game. Thanks to Sarai Valdez for the hockey trilogy of footos!
Wait! Don't forget the Zamboni! Thanks, again, Sarai.
What a crazy night of hockey it was at the Dodge Arena in Hidalgo (McAllen) Texas! The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees jumped out to a 3-1 lead after two periods of play only to see the Corpus Christi Rays score 6 GOALS in the third period to win 7-3. Shortly after the final goal was scored, the gloves came off and every player on the ice was slugging it out. Gloves, pads, sticks everywhere. Everyone on the ice was ejected - including the goalies. Tim Smith's foot was one of 10,998 feet in "the Dodge" that night and is shown here in this footograph.
John Glas Fieldhouse, Bemidji State University, Minnesota
This is the John Glas Fieldhouse, home of the Bemidji State University Beavers Hockey team. Note the banners hanging from the rafters. They represent all of BSU's national hockey championships in D3 and D2 before they moved up to D1 a few years ago. Also note the six Olympics banners. They represenet the six BSU players who played on an Olympic hockey team. All that is missing from footographer Dave Smith's foot is the skate.
Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center, Duluth Minnesota
This footograph was taken in the DECC in Dulth on Saturday night, Dec. 9. The Bemidji State University Beavers were down 5-2 against the University of Minnesota -Duluth bulldogs in the First period and came back to win 6-5 in overtime. Looks like footographer Dave Smith was on the ice with the players! This footo could also go into the Wet Feet category...especially with the mild weather in Minnesota lately!
