Since many websites have a privacy policy, it seems we probably should have one too. So, here goes! FeetInFamousPlaces is a "just for fun" website which is maintained at the whim of the owner of the domain name. We don't conciously store any information about folks who visit this site. However, we understand - and the users should too - that computers tend to "flirt" with one another, sending certain information back and forth making it easier for them to stay in touch with each other in the future. That means my computer can probably identify your computer and vice-versa a lot fast than you and I can identify each other. Using "cookies" and other geek-talk-methods, there is information stored deep on your hard drive (and mine too, for that matter) which we will never know exists, nor will we be able to find. In all honesty, we do use internet tracking software to give us an idea which of our pages you are looking at and how many of you are clicking on to FeetInFamousPlaces each day. We can even track your IP address. As the internet evolves and changes, there's a chance we'll someday learn how to use that information. You'll have to trust us that we have no alterior motives. This site is just what we say it is...."just for fun." If you are brave enough to submit a "footograph" to this website, you are giving us permission to post it on the site. That, by definition, gives anyone in the world the opportunity - and the right - to look at your feet. If some weirdo with a sick foot fetish tries to find you and lick your feet, that is strictly your problem. We, at FeetInFamousPlaces, will not be responsible for that kind of stuff. We don't endorse it, we don't encourage it, we don't want to see it, we don't want to hear about it. Certainly don't send us pictures of that!
The Bottom Line: We're probably gathering information about you and your computer while you read this. How we will use that information is yet to be determined because we don't even know how or where to find that information. If you send us a "footograph," your e-mail address will be stored in our address book so we can let you know about important foot-news. And, we're not responsible for anything that happens to you or anyone else- whether or not it is related to feetinfamousplaces.com (unless, of course, you find the winning lotto numbers embedded someplace on this site in which case we're willing to settle for 50% of your winnings).
