Ringgold Elementary students and staff recently moved into their new, beautiful school located inside Fort Ringgold in Rio Grande City , Texas . This is the not so famous new sign informing Rio Grande City residents that they just arrived at Ringgold Elementary. They are very proud of their heritage. Although they enjoy their new school facilities, they want to insure that the old Ringgold Elementary is preserved. After all it is a historical building used by Confederate soldiers during the Civil War.
