WELCOME TO . . .

. . .Talkeetna, Alaska.
The historic town of Talkeetna, Alaska is at the base of Mt. McKinley, the highest peak in North America. The town offers incredible panoramic views of the Alaska Range. Laura, Albertson grabbed this "Welcome To..." footograph for us.
. . .San Antonio, Texas.
During the great ice storm of January 2007, Alex Garcia and Tim Smith pause for a footograph at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center on the Riverwalk. On the banner overhead, it says "Welcome to San Antonio" on the left and "Beinvenidos A San Antonio" on the right. Alex and Tim were in town for the American Meteorological Society's annual convention.

. . . South Padre Island, Texas
After a nice dinner celebrating their 6th Anniversary, Tim and Nora Smith stop at the entrance to beautiful South Padre Island, Texas. After this footograph, the camera was put away for the night. :-)
...McAllen, Texas
...or Bienvenidos a McAllen! Traffic is heavy and with no place to pull over, footographer Tim Smith had to circle the block several times to get a red light so he could get his foot into the window of his car long enough to get a footo of this newly erected sign near the airport in McAllen, Texas.
. . . Harlingen, Texas:
It's not easy to get a foot into the window of a Southwest Airlines jet while taxi-ing, but Taylor Smith managed to do it at Valley International Airport in Harlingen, Texas during a Thanksgiving visit to the South Texas tropical paradise.
...Port Isabel, Texas
If you look closely - right on the shore in front of the lighthouse, you can see the giant letters saying "Welcome To Port Isabel." This footograph was taken by Nora Smith while crossing the landmark Queen Isabella Causeway on New Years Eve 2006. Click on footo for larger image.
